Hello Friends!
I trust you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving? We had a full house. My oldest daughter and her husband joined us, and my daughter Lilly came home from college and brought her roommate Lael, who is from the Philippines. Since Thanksgiving is a North American holiday, we had the privilege of explaining to Lael why we have this holiday and she joined us in celebrating the provision we have in our good God and Savior, Jesus Christ!
This blog is getting a new face! My daughter Lilly is going to join me in writing posts. She is my third oldest, 20 years old, and a music major at Evangel University! She is a singer-songwriter, a mean organizer, a wonderful sister and friend, an able cook and crafter, and woman after God’s heart. She’s a deep thinker and truth seeker. I think you’re going to love her. She is going to be sharing excerpts from her journals and lessons God is teaching her. You can find all of her posts under the new category “Diaries of a Younger Woman.”

I’m giving the categories a makeover to keep them more relatable. I’m also prayerfully working on making the blog more intentional, and the tags are going to be streamlined to fit that purpose. I’ll fill you in more on that later!
May your family time be blessed and your Christmas preparations be peaceful. There is sacred space to be found in the intentional focus on Christ as the reason we give thanks and the hope we anticipate. Advent is coming.
Lucy

So am I! It is always a joy to discuss life and theology with her when she is home, and when she has me proof her college papers it is fun to see how she’s growing. ❤️
